My Photoshop CS5 disc arrived yesterday, so I have been playing around with HDR . . . if you have Photoshop and haven't tried it yet -- you really should. Do the photos look completely life-like? Well, no. Does it look neat anyway? YES! At least, my husband and I think so.
Here is the result of my first attempt. It's by no means perfect, and I have a lot to learn, but I just wanted to share (and hopefully inspire others to experiment with HDR as well. *Ahem* Karissa *cough, cough* Ha ha). Hope you like it! Critiques are welcome!!

Yay! Four teeth! If you can ever get the little guy to have a picture taken with his mouth open, I want to see!
ReplyDeleteAnd you have inspired me to begin playing with HDR. You can actually have HDR mode turned on on the camera on the iPhones, and I just had a discussion about it with a customer recently. Then I see your picture, look it up online to see what can be done with it…and now, well, I'm hooked :-)
I recently saw a deal at Sam's Club for a Canon Rebel with the regular lens it ships with, a case, and the zoom lens like Laura has for $600. The normal value is around $950, so I think I'm just going to have to go back and buy it :-) Once I get my hands on an SLR that I can keep, I won't ever want to go to work again. I'll just want to sit around and play!
